Weight loss does not make people happy. Or peaceful. Being thin does not address the emptiness that has no shape or weight or name. Even a wildly successful diet is a colossal failure because inside the new body is the same sinking heart.

Dinner tonight: pasta with vegetables and chicken in bechamel sauce.

A one time dinner I’m craving now.

I made this spring roll filling today for an upcoming family fast-breaking thing. Anyway, these are the ingredients:

Chicken breasts
Onions
Garlic
Red, yellow and green bellpeppers
Red chili pepper paste
Cabbages
Carrots
Kecap Manis
Vegetable oil
Vinegar
Paprika
Thyme
Salt
Pepper

Rice with coconut milk, mint leaves, chili pepper and spices.
